I had her upfront money several times ans she would always back out. She would never give anyone that kind of control. I even made up ways for her to pay it back without it really being a burden on her but in the end she didn't even want the feeling of owing someone like that. I didn't understand it because if she got a loan from a bank she would be obligated to pay it back and if she defaulted it would ruin her credit. We even went and looked several times at Apts or hoses and even thought about longterm airbnb which is cheaper than hotels especially at high season.

It would have never happened unless she got clean and was thinking clearly. Even then I am skeptical.
