Special K was a beautiful but troubled soul. Her demons rebuked any help and ultimately proved to be insurmountable. She kept showing fleeting glimpses of a truly amazing person that kept many of us coming back and wanting so much for her. She had the biggest heart that in the end became too big. She will be deeply missed but is in a better place. RIP.

When I heard through a great close friend of mine that she passed away, I gave one of the biggest "WHAT" that I can remember.
I last saw her right before Christmas last year. Even though she was staying at the Clarion on Brandon, I had to see her. It's been a few months. And as usual, always came through and was worth the drive. Def saw her getting worse, but not to a point of her passing away.
I'll never forget our jokes. The only girl I could not persuade to doing bbfs. I always told her when I get rich, I'm going to do her bb and do greek. She always laughed about it. Even though I've been through so many burner phones - she always knew who I was because I always started the text message by writing "Hey Astrid Kristina, it's me". Just like that always.
One of the coolest and realest.

Any details on her? She's posting in tampa but used to be in Clearwater. Can't find any recent reviews on her. I appreciate any feedback.

I apologize for intruding at a tender moment. However, I have selfish needs. And I'm guessing I'm not alone in that degeneracy. I will be in Clearwater early next week and wondered if anyone has commentary on this delightful morsel.

Posts: 1086Sorry for everyone's loss here.
I'm an out of towner. But I share your sense of loss with the passing of a special provider. There's a lot of layers to it for me when it's happened to a cherished lady I would frequently visit. The loss. The sadness. A bit of remorse if my needs led someone else down a dark path. Ultimately we all make our own decisions. But we are saddened when one of the good ones goes away. By all accounts here, Astrid was a good one.

I met her many years ago and she was always a wonderful person and so sweet. Definitely a loss for me and people that knew her. Another friend lost.

Very sad news. She was a very kind and sweet person. I wish there was an avenue for help for her (and other gals out there in the same situation).

Posts: 5940She still has a linked in account up. I found it and showed it to her recently. I told her it was very impressive which it is. She kinda had forgot about it and told me a little about how she went from there to what led to her current situation.

I always told her that with her creativity and professional & welcoming demeanor, she could start her own marketing business focusing on the needs of small business. Many small businesses need the help but don't know where to start. As you know managing finances was not her thing so savings was a challenge & she struggled with kicking the habit.

She will be missed more than just as a Hobbyiest.
She did graphic design work for me.
Very sad news.
