As someone who has been on both sides of the fence, I wish I had better news, but I can say it definitely affects level of service- even though it's not *quite* as extreme as the examples you gave.

I am just under your height / early 40's, and pre-pandemic I was a semi-muscular 200 LBS- worked out heavily 4 days a week, while watching what I ate 5 or 6 days a week. I was basically built like an NFL running back.
