Long time monger here just been coasting the posts for a while. M1, magic and Saigon are still good. But I'd expect them to tread lightly on those who visit. Day spa is for sure closed. Saw a white sheet covering the door and broken glass. I don't do AMP too often anymore. The aamp are the best.

Maybe I'm looking at this all in retrospect, but I honestly don't think Day Spa getting raided or shut down was all that surprising or shocking. If any of you have been there, they really didn't keep up the façade that the place was a spa in any sense. They had no front desk receptionist, the place was dark and dimly lit with a bunch of non working pedicure machines and "massage" tables with paper sheets (akin to that of a doctors office) with no face holes. Anyone who thought for 10 seconds that this place looked like a legit spa has never been to a legit spa before. At least with other FS places, there was at least a bit of plausible deniability that the place was indeed legit. Places like the now gone Spa 1717 immediately come to mind that gave clients bath robes and slippers to lead you to the table shower were some of the things to at least make you think that at least things were somewhat on the up and up.

As a somewhat surprising related note, I do find it interesting that they smashed the front door as part of the raid. You would have thought that they would have just had an undercover cop walk in and perform some arrests (as to my knowledge there was only 2 or 3 people in the building at any particular moment). Guess they were really trying to send a message (or perhaps living out their real "hero" moment) when they smashed in the front door.

As someone that's been on this board for more than 5 years, this happens every 8-10 months without fail:

1. Particular place or places get raided.

2. Everyone freaks out.

3. There's at least one moron who pours gasoline on the small fire and states as fact that some of us will be arrested by the police or the FBI.

4. Nothing ever happens.

5. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Unless you're part of a trafficking ring, or if you're too dumb to perform the VERY simple and basic etiquette that keeps you out of harm's way, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I'd like to suggest mods banning the gasoline pourers; as this prevents information being shared, which hurts us all.

Agreed. Too many mongers out in the USA. Would honestly cause a economic crisis. Too many domino effects there's just too many mongers.

Calling an AMP is not a crime unless you explicitly discussed doing illegal things (like paying money for sex, which I assume you didn't do).

I will be in Dearborn on Friday this week for work, what places are the best to go to as I have not been in the area in a few years. I agree with Smashing here. Unless you are specifically walking in and telling the girls either in person or via text "Hey, how much to fuck you?" loud enough that the whole town can hear it, the cops quite literally have nothing to tie to you. Sure, they could have their suspicion that you're doing something illegal, but without probable cause (and even then PC is not enough for an arrest in most situations) or hard evidence / proof of you soliciting prostitution, there's no way they can do anything to you. And if they did, don't tell them SHIT! Nothing good EVER comes from talking to cops. Play dumb. If anything, you could just say you had no idea what goes on in this place and just wanted a massage. Hell, you could even tell the cop that the second the girl started touching your junk that you didn't consent to her touching you. Your word against hers. So long story short, stop freaking the fuck out. The cops are not coming after you, me or any other monger. If you want a massage with extras, go get a massage with extras. Stay safe and go bust your nuts.

The sheriff said in one report that these places have been under surveillance for over 14 months and they are still gathering phone records and closed circuit video recordings which they said will take time to sort out. All l know is if you enter one of these places you better know that you are probably being recorded by law enforcement or the spa you are walking into and law enforcement confiscated everything from these places. I would tread very lightly for a while on visiting any massage parlors. Now l know they are not under 24 hr surveillance but you never know when you're being watched. Sure they can't prove you were doing anything but getting a massage try explaining that to your wife or girlfriend. Everyone knows what goes on in there.

That's definitely a smart thing to do.

However I know for a fact that at least one of the places raided recorded cars / licenses as they parked, and tied that to you as they recorded you entering the doorway.

There is no way out of that one if they're set on identifying you.

Cherry Blossom was allegedly closed after a raid roughly six months ago. They had video cameras trained on the door and cash register area. They maintained phone records which, at least in the short term, tied to specific visits and workers. To the best of my knowledge the rooms weren't bugged. It's strange there were no news accounts of the closure or rates.

It's got me a little freaked out and on guard. I've called one of those places a few times and went there once like 6-10 months ago. Plus who knows where else they might be watching that didn't get busted yet. I'm hoping I do t get a call or a visit down the road about this. Would t be good for my relationship and maybe even my job if it became public. I think I'm going to stay out of the hobby for awhile.

If anyone on here happens to get a call or something please give others a heads up.
