Best bang for your buck is a hard qualifier. Seems like you aren't really able to travel too far down towards South America. Right before the pandemic hit, I was traveling in Germany and really thought hard about the sex clubs over there. My research indicated it was mostly Eastern European women working in there. 5 hrs flight from DTW barely gets you out of the US. So your're talking Mexico / Central America or Canada or Carribean.

Personally I enjoyed my layover in Montreal FWIW.
