Going from $160 to $200 for an HHR won't materially help. Assuming it impacts business volume in absolutely no way (it will), it's only an extra 15 bands a year.

I don't say ONLY lightly; it's significant for a regular working joe (like myself), but they'll just spend the extra money because of poor spending habits.

They'd be better served staying competitively priced, being punctual, communicative, and accommodating.

They're smart enough to know the importance of regulars. But a regular has his limits.

Assuming a 60 bands a year salary, and a 10% discretionary budget, a bi-monthly HHR at $160 runs about 2/3 rds of his discretionary fund.

Juice that to $200+, and no matter how much a guy enjoys a gals company. The volume has to decrease. So, everyone loses.

The client market is only so large. Only so many people want the service.

Of those, only so many can afford it.

Of those, only so many can afford to be regulars.

Of those, only so many want to be.

They'd be better served looking at the expenses side, versus the revenue side. But, try telling what is essentially a financially illiterate young woman with a drug addiction how to do that, and you may as well be talking to me about open heart surgery.

Good luck to them all, but we know our limits.

Sometimes you just have to sit out of the game.
