Hey, new to the hobby and I've been reading the forums for a little while now and decided to have my first experience. I called in at around noon to ask if they were busy and if they did walk ins. Once I confirmed they were good on both I got cleaned up, showered and went straight over there. Was surprised at how the place looked but once I opened the door I was called in to head to the room. Anyone been by Apex Spa on Duraleigh lately. 19 times out of 20 this is a legit place but it's very annoying that mgmt is requiring the girls to keep the room doors open during sessions. Not just the girl responsible for the door but all of them. They have enough traffic that your privacy is zero as a result. I guess they don't want any rogue new girls sneaking a HE in.

Thanks for sharing, I don't like to negotiate either so might try this. I am concerned that they take the tip and don't deliver as expected then that's money wasted. Maybe tip a bit upfront and more late depending on the experience. Also $60 for a HE seems more or is that the standard now?

I've done it with $40 a while back (2021), but it was met with some resistance. I found when I'm up front with the $60 on the table (for any AMP) that the experience is worth the extra $10-$20 since there is no back and forth on extra rate, they know what I'm expecting, and since it's what they think is the fair rate there hasn't been many times that the service was lacking on either the massage side or the ending (and have even found they have been more playful since everything has already been negotiated without a word said).

In lite of recent events as well, not having the discussion about rates puts you in a better legal position as "that type of service was never discussed or solicited and the actions that followed were unprompted and unexpected".

That being said, I may be losing out on extras that may be offered, but a majority of places in the area from experience and understanding don't offer anything extra save some roaming and popping the girls out, but I can live without those.

I'll also throw out that I've run the AMP circuit and Moon is tops, with Green Apple second (but my favorite atm because of that TS). The rest are fairly close with exception to Junk Removal. Junk Removal is the only place to date I regrated both wasting the drive and the money. I've given them 3 shots at different times and short of the first session when they opened with Jenny (which she was cute but didn't really know how to take instruction) they have been pretty mechanical and unexciting. I expected more since they were the ones who use to run Yo Yo Healing Spa before it shuttered, but since they opened it's not come anywhere near the level of service I use to get at Yo Yo (really miss that place).

This was 2021. I guess prices have gone up, I'm pretty much out of the hobby now. Then again, I'm here reading so maybe I'm not?

Moon has been my favorite until I started going somewhere else for the TS which I like. Moon by far gave the best massages to me. There has also been hit or miss weeks where they have more playful girls working. Not much better in terms of looks, but better in terms of playfulness and (faked) enthusiasm.

Moon is still my fav and have been going infrequently over the last few years, but it's a nicer setup, feels more private (instead of paper thin curtains), every woman has given a great massage, and some even (again fake) seem to enjoy what they're doing.

The only issues I've had with Moon are one time last December there was a shorter girl who was in there hacking up a lung. That's the only 30 minute massage I've ever had there LOL.

I've found tipping 60 up front doesn't unlock anything "extra", but does make my experience more enjoyable since it gets the whole negotiation or back and forth out of the way so it doesn't spoil the mood.

I would go to moon exclusively if they had a table shower, but I can't go undo my new enjoyment LOL.

I'm shocked that Moon did this with just an 80 spot laid on the table. The reason I quit going to moon was because no matter what the tip, they acted like it wasn't enough. When they first opened, they were cool and never questioned my tip. But then the one with the big teeth (can't remember her name now) started to give me "the look", as if to say, "don't you know that we now expect more in tips than we did a few weeks ago". So I raised the tip, but I still got the same look. So the way I took that was that she was going to do that every time to see how much she could get out of me. The problem with that method is that it will make most mongers quit going and look to go somewhere else, which is what I did. I haven't been to Moon in almost a year, so maybe things have changed and settled back down. I would like to think so as I did like their massages.
