Yeah, something similar happened to me with one provider. Shortly after I mentioned her here, she told me several hobbyists harassed her, including WebbHoes, who she had a bad experience with. I don't know if he outright raped her, but she said he was an asshole. She was so angry she severed all ties with me. I felt awful, esp since she seemed really nice.

Fortunately since most initial contact and payment is now done online (I love cash app), I don't think this shit happens as often. Even though names can be anonymous, when you have each other's number and payment records, this largely serves to help keep things at least somewhat civil. That isn't to say bad things can't happen on both sides, but I think it's more difficult to get away with now.
