Years ago I found a legit place on 3rd st in Little Tokyo for a good, legit massage but it's closed. Another legit looking place showed up on google maps so I did some research and tried it out. On google maps look for Shiatsu Tokyo Japanese Health. You'll find it at the corner of First and San Pedro. The rest of this report may be hard to believe but it really happened.

As of this date the lady is 3 months shy of 90 years old. She is only open from noon to 5, though you can schedule other hours, and I think someone else takes her phone calls. She does speak enough English but at 90 with a thick Japanese accent you'll probably miss most of what she says. Oh and she speaks fairly rapidly too. Massage Finder is hit or miss, but in the LA area there are more overpriced providers who want you to think they provide extras but don't than in other areas of the country.
