That's my impression too. Ultimately, it depends on what facts LE has, and having the Devil's Advocate on retainer doesn't hurt either. But how could LE prove you actually paid for sex? For argument's sake, what if you forgot to pay before you left the apartment? What are they going to do, charge you for petty theft? Reached out to a couple bookers to get the feel for the sense of safety to continue after the bust.
