These are different than the "regular maintenance" page that I sometimes see at night.
I haven't had issues with Verizon in the last month or so but earlier this year I had to almost always use a vpn to load the site.

Posts: 785Just so everyone knows, every single day around midnight and sometimes around noon the website runs a backup and will be down for a while. Every single day.

I have not had any trouble reaching the site and logging in. Cannot fathom why you were having trouble.

Just curious has anyone else been having a hard time reaching this website? For days I've been unable to get to it to write my reports. Occasionally it will reach the server, but most of the time not.

Sitting in bar listened to news report on Google. Not sure how current is was but seemed recent.
Covered new laws in Lemon Grove concerning illegal activity a Massage Spas. They are written to stop prostitution, protect the legitimate spas, and working to stop sex trafficking. Spas will be open from 9 to 9, and the persons sponsoring the laws hope all cities in SD will follow. It mentioned other cities with same laws on the books but I have not seen anything about that.
The news only mentioned laws, not what LE is doing with the suspected spas. We need to keep our eyes and ears open.

Just caught this report on TV. They showed lots of streetwalker videos but with am increase in finding their likely to need to make lots of busts to keep up appearances. News anchors talked more about busting John's than going after the real traffickers.

Posts: 904Press conferences are for show. If you read the affidavit, this investigation is on-going and started two years ago. It clearly shows information on locations, clients, and the process to get to the door, once in the door (blue toast) has been well documented. That is two years of a client list for all of Boston Top 10 locations plus the girls that have worked there and at which locations. Since July 2020 info these locations, individuals, clients, and workers have had data collected on them. While some would say "low hanging fruit", I disagree. An investigation this long, and still on-going, is not after the easy conviction. While reading the affidavit, it is clear there are similarities to other business in Southern California including the multiple apartments, living arrangements, rotation of workers, client documentation, websites, etc. That are to be noted. Notably, "Interstate prostitution network", Boston and eastern Virginia, leaves open the possibility of states beyond these two. Remember, one of the accused is located here in California and this is a Federal investigation.

As others have noted in these threads, we are always being watched. Personally, I have noted Ring cameras located in windows across or next to the doors of several locations here. I never take the same walk direction from where I park into a building or when I exit. On occasion, I will park a short distance away and survey the area for activity. Even inside I keep my guard up. Gentlemen, Boston could easily happen in Southern California since the workers travel here from the East Coast. Be diligent and stay aware. All it takes is for one booker, disgruntled client or worker, to bring attention to the operation with some public ass hole comment. This blog and T E are are monitored by everyone.

Posts: 129The us attorney doing the press conference makes it sound like they went through some really impressive investigation and how shocked the public should be at how the business was being conducted when all they really did was follow the not-even-disguised websites used to advertise the services. Makes you wonder how pressed he was to get something done that he reached for the low hanging fruit.
