Has anyone been to LZ Spa off of Via Mercado? It's in a little shopping center adjacent to a chiropractor's office. Drove by it and noticed it wasn't listed on maps from what I saw. I remember a while back reading about a "Z Spa" but never went, this isn't the same place is it?

Jenny has actually been down at 201 spa for about a week now. Just FYI for anyone wanting to go see her. I actually went and saw her at 201 on Wednesday night 10/18. As far as I know she is still there.

If you're open to an independent, Mya has been the best masseuse I've ever seen. Very clean and quiet spa in an office building in sorrento valley / Mira Mesa and very sexy and petite Thai lady with great English and conversational skills! Balls, I remember your review. It was something like you were happier going in than when you were leaving. Tip haggling is such an F'ing buzz kill. For now, unless someone else chimes in, I will assume the folks that like MBC are high tippers in general and in this situation, there is no tipping drama.

But I do like to keep an open mind, so is there is anyone out there that can convince me or us otherwise. For those that like this place so much, how would you recommend for non-typical-MBCers to approach this place and expect a good non-haggle free experience? For 90 minutes, what amount do I need to throw on the table in advance for things to go smooth?

$100 tip for a 90 min massage seems like that would be standard tip and not excessive. I would assume most people consider a standard tip the same amount paid for the massage. If hhr is $40 the tip is $40, hr $60 tip is $60. I would also say if you are tipping less than that the girl will remember you and your next visit will not be as enjoyable or at the very least they aren't going to give you anymore than basic jackhammer.
