I figured as much so I tried being super discreet with how I ask. I basically said that a mutual friend told me she may need some help. So I said I was available to meet up with her for an hour and was just curious how much help she needed. I typically follow the rule of no mention of specific acts or money unless she is a regular and I'm looking for something in particular. Even then I never have handed money directly to anyone I always just lay it down somewhere in plain sight and never mention it.
