The biggest barrier to entry is Japanese language ability and unfortunately, your race / nationality which is why they ask when you call. You aren't reduced to only being with old or less desirable girls. I think people need to venture outside of Tokyo more.

Don't assume that if I girl is on a foreign friendly website that you can see her. Often you can't. Obviously the Japanese show preferences to their local customers, and not we gaijin. The young and affordable are often off limits. The less popular ones and / or very expensive ones are more likely available to we unwashed and hairy foreigners.
The Japanese have their forums too. They talk amongst themselves on which girls see foreigners and which ones don't. Finally some websites are area restricted. You will need a VPN and locate yourself in Japan to access the site. Good luck and safe travels.

This is 100% false in my experience. I no longer have a local number and have had no issues with booking. I saw a few mentioning exchanging money in Japan and I would stay away from exchanging here in Hawaii. Go to the post office when you arrive in Japan and exchange it there. Want an even more favorable rate? Get yourself a Schwab Bank Investor checking account. Free, No Fees. You can load the account before going to Japan and then withdraw at that day's rate from any ATM at a convenience store. Schwab will reimburse you for the ATM fees charged by the bank in Japan. This is the way to do it.
For those with some Japanese language ability booking over the phone won't be terribly difficult. It seems most will go straight to a soapland and miss out on the delivery health experience completely.
Some of the prices on the Erotic Guide are inflated as they are targeting foreigners. Nobody should have to pay 85,000 yen. You can get delivery for about 12,000 yen which is a steal at $80 USD. Freebies are everywhere. Get on the apps and don't listen to those on TAG saying they don't work. Make sure you mention in your profile where you are from. It is no mystery that Japanese love it here and from my experience, this has put me at the head of the line.
I'll be back soon with some info for those that were interested. JDorian's suggestions are good too as you can find a lot of good intel on TAG. Make sure to create an account there (free) as you would be limited to how many posts you can read as a guest. You may also notice on there that people posting end up spending way too much and this is something I want to help people with. There are numerous reviews of places like Asian Mystique that are 50,000 yen an hour. There is much better value to be found in Japan than these places.

Rule of thumb is if they dont have English on their websites, dont bother to go. If you dont speak Japanese, and their company websites don’t indicate if they have English speaking staff, don't bother to call.
The soap that amused me, not sure if its still around as this list started in 2016, is American Cheer Girl. Its a chubby chasers soapland. They are basically insulting Americans calling us obese. Which is very true.

SF Bay Area trip
Was almost going to pull the trigger and visit Yuna at Happiness or one of the influx of visitng JGirls (yay for the the strong USD!)
