I stayed at Europa and my only two issues were:

1) They falsely advertised having a hotel to airport shuttle.

2) On my 5th day there the wifi was out for around 4 hours which was aggravating. I stayed at the Sosua Inn and thought it was perfectly situated close to the beach and the action. If you call or email them and pay cash there is like a 15% discount from what I remember. Also the property is gated and closed off at night so the security will need to let you and your guest in and take your guests information.

Funny you mentioned Sosua Inn. I was just reading reviews on it today and the consensus seems to be that Sosua Inn is the perfect spot if you want to be close to the beach, strip and near Baileys. 1) I would recommend only booking a room with at least a safe. I didn't have to worry about this too much as they get their Identification held at the desk and need you to come with them to retrieve it before leaving.
