I think what at PlayerN818 was trying to point out is that LA City is about 500 square miles, and LA County / Metro area is over 4,000 square miles, so when you say, "In the area," you are bound to get lots of irrelevant data. That said, I can confirm that the San Fernando Valley is full of aging Chinese providers. You have to really search to find an AMP that isn't GILFs. (Although the ILF part is pretty subjective!)

Visiting from out of town. Stopped by Hollywood Hills Thai Spa on North La Brea. Half hour for 50, paid 60 going in, got my 10 change after I was comfortable. Drew Coco. Nice massage. She was on the table most of the time. When she was standing, allowed OTC down below. Since it was my first time there, I did not want to push it too much. On the flip, she said 100 for HJ. I agreed. Water feature, front desk, rooms had a full shower. It looked fancier than a 5 star hotel. Not only was the model 10/10, she actually used up the entire hour. None of this 20 min and kick you out the door when you paid for an hour. Is there anything similar to this in LA, or is it just AMP's or Latino Massage Parlors?
