When I search, I usually don't bother messaging anyone who hasn't been on in a couple of weeks. Messaging someone who hasn't been on in three weeks or longer is a crap shoot. Sometimes they'll get a notification to whatever email they set up their account with and reply back. But rarely.

If they've been active within 2 weeks. They're in play.

Not active for 3 weeks or longer. Usually either taking a break or working their way through their prospects.

Until they take the profile down, don't get your hopes up. And even then, I've known SB's who took the profile down cause they don't want the messaging email traffic anymore, or they found a rotation they are comfortable with.

In my experience the only ones that have really left are the ones that take down their profile and either ghost you or break things off. Although I do have a couple of ladies that I see for free as fwb's. The ones who use the site as a vanilla dating site (and there are a few on there) usually are good meeting a cool dude or two but get off the site cause they are tired of the crass propositions they get. I have 2 like that, that are always down for some fun and working on another one currently who is looking for vanilla dating but I think I can turn to the dark side of free. 99 belly slapping.

Going to focus on quality and forget quantity. If that means I go a month or two without seeing a new SB then that's what it is. M&G's are ok. As for heartbreak, every single time I drop her off back I know it could be last time I see her, as these girls are in the phase of life where they're just having fun. For me, every single time I spent is something to cherish for that much time, she makes me feel young and fresh. At some point I will move on too from all this.
