I-696 between Novi and Southfield was worse. I suppose that you could take 5 east to 8 Mile Rd (102), but at one time, 8 Mile near Telegraph Rd (24) was bad.

I have no clue whether all that construction still exists, but if it does, you'll have to add some serious time to your journey.

Food for thought is that nearly all of the traveling girls on Ero's and Tryst work out of nice hotels in Novi. Usually $400-$500 if that fits your budget. Otherwise, there are recent posts with FS options as others have started.
