Just to note on the question of PII, mongers need to understand what type of PII is bad. PII is bad when it links you to the hobby. Your name or a Linkedin is not bad PII, unless you used a personal email or number that can be traced to you. For Linkedin, there is no validation of the accounts, outside of a validation based on an email address. You can literally just create a random email address and make a random Linkedin account with anybody's picture and background. Some of the agencies have wised up now and require you to have a linkedin with a certain number of connections to make this less compromised, but even that is not PII. Hell, you could easily make an excuse that you were phished for your Linkedin account and it was hacked if it ever gotten to this dream world where you get arrested based on a Linkedin.

Directly traceable PII is much more compromising and should be avoided. In today's age of social media, your name is actually completely unimportant since a simple Facebook web scraper could create a completely fake identity from you.

Tbh its a YMMV game with agency verification. They all ask for the same stuff but on any given day you could get by with just name and references. I have with a few. But standard protocol does seem to be I'd and work info. I will tell you (and I think all the OGs will agree with me) that DS is the hardest to get in with. Tough screening.
