I remember reading about it here and drove by it one afternoon traveling for work. Never visited. I think there was a news story about a shootout. Could have been a different club. The only 8 mile club I ever visited was Cheetah's.

You and I are likely close in age because I too remember the NAME but was a teen at the time it was open. Was that the bar that was sort of kitty corner from Mt Olivet Cemetery and city airport (McNichols and Van Dyke), or was it an 8 Mile club.

I think The Office is there now. I remember it being a small space, basically a room, with not much space for table dances between the tables.
