I personally like GFE as well, I don't mind paying a higher rate for it, but having that preference does limit your options.

If you add the age cap to that, then your options will definitely be decreased considerably.

The more particular preferences you have, the more limited your options will be. However saying that the hobby as a whole is dead might be a bit of a harsh overstatement.
