Posts: 527As someone that goes to Diamonds dayshift, I wouldn't recommend Friday-Saturday. Thursday is worth it if you don't mind having Vivide as a back up plan. Monday-Wednesday is the ideal time to go in my experience around 1 pm. 2-3 pm if you're looking for AAs.

The talent there can fluctuate and there are quite a few Vivide dancers that visit time to time and are much more open to things such as BBBJs and more. I'm glad I didn't fully stop going last year when they used to lie on dance counts. Earlier this year something changed. I've even had some dancers undercount a few times by 1-2 dances.
Also by song 2 they are completely naked in my experience. Monday- Wednesday the DJ doesn't even talk unless someone goes on stage. He doesn't say much but introduce them, say throw some ones, then outro mentioning VIP.
Never been rushed in VIP as well..normally the VIP guy comes and flashes a flashlight signaling time is up. If you go through Diamond reviews for VIP youll see they are mostly good. I do want to say I didnt start paying for VIP until last year so my experience around VIP could be different from more experienced VIP goers.

Posts: 109LOL wild indeed! So the meeting was NOT to tell the girls to stop doing it, but just move it to the VIP so we can get our cut!

SMDH. Like I said in previous posts, the strip club scene in ATL is changing for the worse across the board. We (the men with disposable income) are the only place where people can skim profits these days. It's time to get your side chick roster built up fellas. Start collecting your favorite dancers numbers and get your snapchat / IG game going. The club shit is not worth. I'm going to start hitting up some of these bachelor house parties that I see dudes throwing on IG and see what's good with the underground scene. The overhead of clubs is for the birds.

Looks like folks have more bad than good to say about Diamonds.
Admittedly, I have not checked it out myself, but kinda have the gut feel the type I like either wouldn't work here or wouldn't allow me to get away with any hanky panky if they did.
$20 dayshift cover just ain't going to happen for me and I really don't want to pay $10 either, but would to check it out once. I'll shoot for a Wed or Thursday around 3-4 pm pretty soon. Hopefully, door girl honors the $10 before 5 pm cover!

My last visit was similar. Was told 20 due to some type of party / excuse at 4 pm. Everyone should boycott that spot until they get their prices worked out and consistent. I'm in the camp of people that think the door girl is scamming.

I went last Saturday around 3:00 and it was $20 to get in. I questioned the door lady because of what I had read on here. She said it was a birthday party so it was $20. Inside was not great w. Are. T. Dancer selection and quality of dances compared to V and I probably won't be returning for at least a year based on this experience. Maybe the worst part was the DJ. He would not shut up and there was absolutely no way to know when a song started and when it ended.

What the heck is going on? A meeting about DO? That just sounds wild on so many levels. Welp, we'll see how it goes!

Me and Dave Phd went to scout Blaze yesterday. Experience was decent but apparently management has been having a meeting with the girls about DO dances. They want the girls to only do that in VIP now. All of my regular DO girls kept telling me we need to go to VIP in order for DO dances. It's a way for the club to make more money. With that said if you go don't say you weren't warned.

I went to Diamond during the day and it was 10 dollars to get in which is very high for a day shift. The dancers wore their bottoms. I asked a waitress if they got naked and she said They had to get warmed up first. I gather that means they had to have a bigger than normal tips (they did have normal garter belts filled with money). Haven't been back since.

I had to go back to Wax to see what was going on. I parked at the chicken place on the corner to avoid the parking fee. Just a short walk up the hill. 20 entry fee. I talked to the mgr or owner (white guy). He told me about the trouble with the city of South Fulton. Said one of the council members wants to shut them down. Evidently some gangs hang out there drawing attention. There were plenty of cute AA girls to get dances with. Got some with Candy and Major. Both long legged AA ladies. Good dances, but not great conversationalist. Decided to bounce shortly after. The owner / mgr told me the Cubanas are just out of town for the time being and I expect they will be back in October. They tend to go back and forth. FYI, It was all AA and no latinas or white strippers. Will go back at some point when the Cubanas get back in town.

Posts: 527Wasn't aware of the $60 option. I'll ask Barry about it next time I'm there to give it a go. More so for the privacy and not being attacked by latinas that view me a regular. I enjoy the company but sometimes I just want to focus on 1-2 dancers.

Good info RCS. As far as upstairs at Vivide, I have used it multiple times when the bar was closed and it was empty. I asked the DJ where I could get some privacy and he said the crows nest right where you come down the stairs or even better, use the back corner couches which were not in use. Said it would be $60 for unlimited time. I covered it with Barry as well and he simply said I could pay him or pay Brian. That was about 5-6 months back on maybe a Thursday. I spent roughly an hour on the back couch. Barry did his rounds and simply moved quickly past us. As in everything at Vivide things can always change but it worked for me. I don't like VIP in any of the clubs. Too dark, rushed, and impersonal so this was like VIP "light".

Posts: 527I believe this comes down to paying actual staff. On Friday / Saturday it is busier and the bar is is open upstairs or at least the last time I went on a Friday / Saturday. They'll need someone to monitor for safety and waitresses willing to go up there to check if customers want drinks. It probably isn't worth hiring 1-2 people extra to man the upstairs area. If it is strictly used for DO dances the club itself doesn't benefit from that.

As far as the PinUps situation, I don't see it closing. Possibly switching to Onyx / Allure hours but do not see it closing as the owners know the make it rain crowd pretty well.

Posts: 313I think V sits somewhere between make it rain and a mixed club, I think it will survive. Didn't go last week but I'll make my final judgment this Fri. I don't know jack about if the economy is worse or better than last year for stripclubs. At V last year and last winter half my visits I'd be competing with a higher roller parking 2 hours with the girls I wanted. This spring / summer there was little competition or at least fast turnover. For $150 of floor dances you get treated like a king.

I don't know what pulls more money for V the day shift or the night club. As a club, to me it's pretty shit, even compared to mid tier Atl regular nightclubs. They didn't have a working urinal for what seemed months / weeks. All the investments seem to be for the nightclub (more tvs, less middle floor couches). Overpriced parking / entry fee for night. They reupholstered couches sure but they're too upright and narrow for VIP, as well as the ratty VIP curtains.
I know management interviews girls but don't know if they do any effort to recruit new girls / travel girls. While they have a handful of 9's, I rarely see 10's imo (like Mia or Alexandra). If they got 5 high quality new girls I feel like that would be enough chum in the water. I don't know the arrangement management has with the pimps, but its a bad business decision from what I see. The pimps take up one of the biggest couches (by floor ATM VIP) one telling me they get comped drinks or allowed to bring in their own booze / food. Pimp entourage can be 7 or 8 guys for bringing in 2 or 3 girls to the club. I don't imagine they're a net gain for the club as the girls look homely to me. I feel Barry or whoever pulls day club should either boot the pimps to free up customer space or tell them to step up if they want benefits.
They also need to open the upstairs not just Fri / Sat. They know day shifters want more discretion, especially the DO'ers. But closing half the floor space I think they're limiting their ceiling.

Posts: 109The few times I've stayed over until night from dayshift (avoiding that stupid parking and entry) its been mad chill, basically the same as day shift. The only difference really is when they have local artists come in to perform. Then it can give a "make it rain" vibe for an hour or so when the performer and entourage roll in, but otherwise it's not like that.
