One of many things I've noticed on this topic.

The market has changed so much since I started in the hobby 30 years ago. The current cost of living, especially housing is killing the hobby. There was a time right here when regular girls working day jobs like nurses, bookkeepers, flight attendants, court reporters, hair dressors, and school teachers in our area would rent a side apartment just to host dates away from their personal lives on a part time basis.
