Posts: 313I think V sits somewhere between make it rain and a mixed club, I think it will survive. Didn't go last week but I'll make my final judgment this Fri. I don't know jack about if the economy is worse or better than last year for stripclubs. At V last year and last winter half my visits I'd be competing with a higher roller parking 2 hours with the girls I wanted. This spring / summer there was little competition or at least fast turnover. For $150 of floor dances you get treated like a king.

I don't know what pulls more money for V the day shift or the night club. As a club, to me it's pretty shit, even compared to mid tier Atl regular nightclubs. They didn't have a working urinal for what seemed months / weeks. All the investments seem to be for the nightclub (more tvs, less middle floor couches). Overpriced parking / entry fee for night. They reupholstered couches sure but they're too upright and narrow for VIP, as well as the ratty VIP curtains.
I know management interviews girls but don't know if they do any effort to recruit new girls / travel girls. While they have a handful of 9's, I rarely see 10's imo (like Mia or Alexandra). If they got 5 high quality new girls I feel like that would be enough chum in the water. I don't know the arrangement management has with the pimps, but its a bad business decision from what I see. The pimps take up one of the biggest couches (by floor ATM VIP) one telling me they get comped drinks or allowed to bring in their own booze / food. Pimp entourage can be 7 or 8 guys for bringing in 2 or 3 girls to the club. I don't imagine they're a net gain for the club as the girls look homely to me. I feel Barry or whoever pulls day club should either boot the pimps to free up customer space or tell them to step up if they want benefits.
They also need to open the upstairs not just Fri / Sat. They know day shifters want more discretion, especially the DO'ers. But closing half the floor space I think they're limiting their ceiling.

Posts: 109The few times I've stayed over until night from dayshift (avoiding that stupid parking and entry) its been mad chill, basically the same as day shift. The only difference really is when they have local artists come in to perform. Then it can give a "make it rain" vibe for an hour or so when the performer and entourage roll in, but otherwise it's not like that.

But you mentioned the staff is very accommodating. I'm hoping you mean the dancers? Because once I'm past the security pat down, I really don't interact with the staff! LOL!

Posts: 109Maybe you haven't been to Ace of Clubs yet because it is very customer friendly aside from the night time parking & entry prices. Once you are inside, the staff is very accommodating to the customer. Sounds like Pinups is just a wannabe Magic City price gouge club now. It may work in a strong economy, but in this economy LOL hell no. We've already seen an influx of Pinups girls move over to wax Unfortunately, Wax is having failed inspections and liquor license problems coming up, so it may be closing soon also. Atlanta is definitely changing as far as the strip club scene. Only the big money and white clubs will survive through 2024.

Posts: 210Not sure if they will lose it. Blondie and Slick Vic have what the Gen-Z scammers like as far as club atmosphere is concerned. They took over Babes turned it to Ace of Clubs and its still open a few years later.

Same here for the posters that bothered to stop by and report. Stokers or Blaze length dances at twice the price with the same quality women is not a winning business model. Throw in the cameras and dancers being terminated for trying to please customers and I will stay far away. Always have hated the seating anyway. I'll give it 6 months for them to access their losses and close it again. Thankfully ATL has other options.

Posts: 313Maybe 1 visit wasn't enough of a sample size but my 1 visit to Diamonds sucked. I was hopeful for a new pool akin to Vivide's. The door person tried to upsell me entrance. The talent on a Friday early evening was weak. The aggressive Cubana I danced remained clothed and didn't let me grope lightly until Dance 3 all while pushing VIP. She was 6. 5-7. I do like the clubs actual set up, lots of smaller cozier booths. I only went because I heard Mia worked there, only for her to come to Vivide months later.

Posts: 313Yeah the new Pinups, while never have been myself, was something I hoped would shake up my routine. But it doesn't seem the talent or mileage fit my tastes. Thanks for intel.

Posts: 94I haven't gone back since their DJ was calling people gay for not getting dances and other things. Shut up and play music man and if I see something I like I'll get a dance.

Appreciate the info!

Good news: the girls understand the resistance to 10 dollar dances and many only charge 5 now. Ask each one as it's different per girl now.
Bad news: milage is quite low due to the extreme amount of cameras. Already been a few girls fired.
Worst news: songs are short & blonde hair DJ mixes songs together well making it hard to count . My source said it's been a common issue of misunderstanding count by no one's fault then the DJ.

Posts: 567When things slow down for me I'll check it out for sure. I need a backup VIP spot. I think I went on a Wed or Thur around 7 pm and it was dead. I need to go when it's a bit busier.
