In my earlier post I mentioned coming over to cic via roosevelt road. Riot fest is in town and an usual amount of "the blue light special" is all over that park there as well as all the way up to the corner of cicero and roosevelt. They are just podding on side streets and in gas station lots in the good to go position. Just my observation. I knew the fest was coming to town and had some major acts, however did not know nor care when. Well low and behold it's this weekend. Places where you wouldn't park your ride for 10 minutes in fear of having it vandalized are getting 30 bucks for parking!

With this weekend being Mexican Independence I decided not to be out on the streets. I was checking Maps and it said that there were street closures on Cicero Ave / IL-50. I don't want to risk getting caught in any type of traffic. Plus I'm sure there's going to be more LE than usual. Did anyone venture out to Cicero /5th? How was it?

Coming back from back of the yards I took roosevelt to cicero up to get a glimpse of 5th. Northbound traffic was really backed up as the xtresssway westbound entrance was bad news. Saw a tall dish water blonde WSW on her phone on the east in heels (not stripper shoes, however club style high heels). This was right at the next bus stop on the east side of cic north of 5th.
