I can't speak to her, but that's a glossy headboard and a bare light bulb that looks to be a larger wattage. Nothing about that seems strange to me. The reflection back off the lamp on the wall suggests that she's lighting the photos from the front and the back. Maybe the room is dark and dingy, which could be a concern, but better that she errors on the side of lighting enough so we can see her face and body rather than going with a dark light that doesn't help mongers see what she looks like.
