Agree 100%. For me, the market here is what it is. It's convenient, but it's below average across the board. I've had a few great experiences, but the disappointments are far more common.

Not to take his side, but I've learned to temper my expectations. I recently saw the supposed hot chick at Allie Spa. Keep in mind that looks are subjective and that the massage can differ greatly between the half hour and the hour.

Been to very many massage parlors and maybe a few did not use unscented oil. Almost all use unscented oil.

Do no oil or better yet get one with a shower there and bring your own soap that way you smell like you.
