To me that just screams "I've been arrested before". I'd suggest keeping your hands on top of your steering wheel, if it's dark out, turn on your interior light (before they walk up). That way they can clearly see you're not reaching around hiding anything or getting a weapon, before they walk up. It's more subtle than sticking your hands outside the window, but still puts them at ease, and shows that someone taught you to do that. If you need to reach for anything (ID or registration) wait until they ask for it, tell them what you're reaching for, and where you're reaching, before you do it.

The rest I agree with though. They already know why you're there no matter what you say, but the fact is they can't meet the elements of any crime to make an arrest. No reason to make their job easier.

Nope, the woman walking up and down union Thursday was girl-next-door thick if that makes sense, she doesn't hold a candle to this Dee Dee. I've never seen Dee Dee on the Ave while passing through Lynn but I vaguely remember seeing her as an incall years ago. I'm going to lay off NMS for a bit. The hit-miss ratio in finding decent women there is non-existent, nothing but drugged-out, mentally unstable women.
