I have found this is part of the game. Not that they're necessarily playing games, I mean part of our game that I've just learned to accept. Things happen that can be unavoidable, and given the single-mom circumstance, certainly understandable.

On the other hand, ghosting and then not coming back to apologize and make up for it is a one-and-done for me. I have no patience for that.
