There will be a 6 week follow-up appointment to do additional testing to make sure the meds aren't causing adverse side effects. From then on I will be given 3 months supply at a time.

You do understand that the catcher is the one who is taking a greater risk of infection, right? You giving them something is significantly more likely than them giving you anything. So you should be getting tested regularly if you're BBing anyone in any context oral, vag, or anal.
