Scammers are:

1. If there is one or two pictures and no text.

2. If they say it says their income is $300,000-$1,000,000.

3. If their text says about one generic sentence.

I would add that if an offer is accepted and messaging started, within the first introductory messages, there is a push to leave the site to WhatsApp, etc. They're trying to avoid getting caught. I push them to stick around, try to get them to describe their favorite things about (your cities). The responses keep coming back, "I'd love to talk about that. On WhatsApp" (or texting, etc.). I screencap the conversation, save it, then just report them, demand a refund, then send a screenshot in the follow up emails from the site. I get refunds 9 times out of 10. I have had some fantastic sex with some people on WYP, so I keep that account active. I've also spent entirely too much time talking to scammers, saving screenshots, evidence etc. to get my 20-30 credits back. But I did get over 300 credits refunded, which led to more ...scammers and sometimes the occasional date.

Why would someone in Aberdeen just randomly ask a guy for a date in Seattle. Who just happened to be looking at profiles in Aberdeen previous day? So, yes, I think the site is making the fake accounts.

Just something to think about is that the dating site technologies are heavy on data gathering. You showed up as searching Aberdeen for people, the site then suggests you to people in Aberdeen, even though their search may not include Seattle. On the flip side, though, SecretBenefits has been outed for using employees to create targeted profiles, as well as employees reading personal communications between people. They're a vile offshore entity, so they violate all the laws to get your hard earned. Cash? Nope. Now it's bitcoin only. Of course! Because they're violating commerce laws. This whole habit, er, hobby sucks in so many, many ways.

I highly recommend this as a kind of cleansing. I regret canceling my SA subscription, which still had two months on it, but some of you kindly offered discount codes yesterday, and I'm back online with a whole new persona. It's refreshing, and I get to see all those nefarious players who tried to block me before. Not that I give a shit. But at least I can proactively block them now.

Anyway, who cares, right? But I did come here to mention one thing. Amongst the realm of online subscriptions and accounts, one in particular really shines as the pile of garbage it truly is. If you really enjoy punishing yourself trying to set up dates with scammers, I highly recommend WhatsYourPrice.

They'll refund your credits (every time) as a "one time courtesy" but W8 Tech Limited / W8 tech Cyprus Limited (who also run SA) really need to bring the haz mat team on this turd pool of a site.

Yes. What's your price is full of scammers. For the life of me I don't know if it's the site owners making fake ads or what, but I've pretty much got them down now.

I really think it is the site owners though because (I mentioned this before) my profile is based in Seattle and a city on the East Coast as a secondary and I was going to be in Aberdeen for a weekend. So, I did a filter and looked to see who was available in Aberdeen and didn't see anything I like. The next day, I wake up to a date request from someone in Aberdeen that just opened an account. Why would someone in Aberdeen just randomly ask a guy for a date in Seattle. Who just happened to be looking at profiles in Aberdeen previous day? So, yes, I think the site is making the fake accounts.

I think I've been using VWO33 COM for the last 3 years every time I want to sign up and it works. Just changing the "25" in their 25% off code to "33" works occasionally as well if they change the letters. Never had success changing to higher numbers.
