I'm not certain about the snapchat thing, I've seen some legitimate ones with that, but it may be a good general indicator. But you're absolutely right, the ones that explicitly state BBFS or words to that effect are 99.9% of the time scams. I'm never sure what that means but I know 2 things for sure. Fake ads use pictures of real girls (obviously) all the time so it's not surprising if they use photos of local girls.
