When I talk to providers they often share haggling stories. Some are amusing. One very recently told me she has guys from stl area ask her for "10 minute visits without references. " her site explicitly lists minimum 60 minute sessions. With two references. I don't feel too sorry for the gal, as she can clearly handle these situations and it's part of being in business, but it definitely causes a guarded nature for new clients. She tells them "no thanks" and moves on. She's had guys reply back with "how about 15? Or 30.. 40???” And then she blocks them. It would be like asking a restaurant for 1/8 a sandwich and then dining there.. I do see both sides, but if a gal has requirements on a site, it is pretty clear what to expect. I also would get angry when gals give other new guys lower rates.. that’s not fair to rest of us. I’m sure it happens..

In my opinion, if prices go up, so will the selection and quality of opportunities. More people will elect to offer services. Likewise, once the selections increase, competition increases. Then guess what? Prices stabilize (go down likely) and we as clients decide whom to patronize whether AMP or other services.

Thanks for backing me up Ever, I'm constantly amazed by the mongers on these boards saying that all the mongers should stick together and hold the prices down. LOL They then complain about the lack of young and pretty girls. We can't have it both ways. Years ago when I was a regular up in Collinsville and Columbia, Mo and later Centreville, I learned the business model of these AMPs, at least the FS ones. It's a nation wide network of providers that would come from all over the States to work in these parlors. I remember they would work 3 months and be off 3 months. I called few weeks back to make appointment. Told "yes come in that day" but they didn't get name. I then called back to give name. This was around 9 am weekday.
