Man, I have never experienced this before. Went in for my first time in a little while. Great massage. Until about fifteen minutes in. Phone rang, masseuse leaves to answer. She puts it on speaker. When I have travelled to other cities, I've seen massages start at 200 $. That's before tipping. Louisville Kentucky, Seattle, Albany, Columbus Ohio, others have typically been higher than St. Louis area. Usual rates start at 180-200 $ in those areas I've not been to all the places, but the "parlors" in these other cities start at 200 $. I'd imagine the masseuses are getting 50-100 tips atop that.

Around St. Louis etc I'd imagine the strip mall or condo / apartment leases have drastically increased since 2020, like everything else. I personally don't believe massage prices in stl area have matched inflation. I perhaps should not post this but I'm amazed how cheap parlors and providers around St. Louis areas are vs other cities.
