Wow, feast or famine when it comes to traffic on the board here. Seems like no posts for weeks, I take a couple days off from checking in a then several posts to read through.

For the guys that drove a long distance to only to find a closed door that is understandable to be ass hurt. It has happened to me a few times, not with Julia but with a few other providers. The difference is I try not to take it personally and don't get angry. I don't know what was going on with their lives at that moment. There have been many times I have something planned but then life intervenes. Something else comes up, or suddenly I don't feel good. Am I the only one that this happens to? I doubt it. My life is not perfect, so I don't expect others lives to be perfect. One provider I drove about an hour only to turn around and drive back after waiting nearby for about a half hour. I did not lose my cool and started blowing their phone up. A couple hours later they called and apologized and asked to reschedule and they would make it up to me. And oh, they sure did. It was a great visit.

As far as needing more time to get ready. I just think back to the punch line "is there any woman that is ready on time?" I have a couple of non-provider lady friends that ask me to be their date at an event or I invite them out for dinner and a movie. Seems like I can plan this out weeks in advance and I am sitting on their couch waiting 30 minutes for them when they needed only 5 more minutes to be ready when I got there. The difference is a provider (a good one that is) will make up for the lost time and then some so I don't even think about it when I walk out the door.
