Is it normal that the media hasn't run stories on this bust yet?

The media did run a story on the latest massage parlor bust. This was a few weeks ago and it was the massage parlor across the street from lake highland prep. Couple photo showed couple guys going in and coming back out. Then moments later, SWAT rolls on the scene. Weapons drawn and they enter the building. The next photograph posted on the news was everybody outside. Getting ready to take the ride. I rode by there about three weeks ago and I couldn't stop laughing that one. It opened up right by your school. That's got to be the stupidest location for a business like this.

Anyone else find it odd that all these places shut down within a few weeks of each other or is it just me?

Almost as if LE had a tipper or they had been on surveillance on the AMP trifecta for some time and finally caught the owners in the act of money laundering or something.

Everyone needs to understand that these places were probably under surveillance for months. If LE wants to make a "big splash", they might go after the visitors. Basically, a big waste of taxpayer dollars, for a "morality issue", when there is actual crime to address. Or maybe they just want to confiscate the $$ from the spas, to fund their police banquets, etc.

There was regularly a vehicle parked late nights on the opposite side of the parking lot for MM under the overhang and a building straight up and in view of the front door / parking area where license plates could've easily been catalogued. I parked next to the vehicle sitting there with a driver just staring at the front door once and they didn't budge from that spot for hours.

Maybe if these people open up again, finding a commercial spot that isn't so close to a god damn major highway would be a good idea, less attention is good sometimes.

Unfortunately, trafficking is built into the business model. I think when people hear "human trafficking" they imagine the movie Taken and think its innocent girls kid apped and thrown into sex slavery. In reality, isn't it just moving people for the sake of profiting or exploiting of sexual acts? Most of these girls are escorts or parlor girls in their own country so when they simply just get flown out to the states to do it here or moved from parlor to parlor throughout different counties in the states, boom, it's trafficking.

It's hard to see how this business model continues aside from being stopped fully or just existing, waiting till the next bust, going quiet + regrouping, and existing again rinse and repeat. Especially, with DeMoron in charge who's infatuated with headlines and "moral" crusades.

Several that I've known have talked about their vacations & trips, visiting family & friends and even shown me pictures on vacation and out with their friends. One I even know had pictures of her scuba diving and was going diving soon as she left for vacation. So at least the ones I've gotten to know seem to come & go and work when they want to work and don't when they don't want to work. A different lifestyle, but hey.

Is it really state wide? I've only seen Orlando and Ft Lauderdale get hit in the last week.

Well those are the 2 "best" places (counting entire Broward as FTL), no?

The funny thing about this is none of these busts are going to do anything really to effect the area.

Look at south florida, which king / nds got caught up with but the reality is there are a million places to still go.

Just with in walking distance from the hard rock there are 3 rub places and 1 AMP. Who are they kidding.

Tampa use to have really great AMPs and then they had a couple get busted. My old favorite was ocean.

Guess what, there are a ton of aroma shops around tampa where you can get anything you want, not too mention all the AMPs.

Orlando has a ton of AMPs right now and plenty are still providing. King / nds were part of a big group so that was there problem and milk didn't have a license which was easy pickins for LEO.

Winter park will let a AMP exist as long as they are not FS. Still plenty of FS AMPs running around right now!

You would have thought that the Sentinel and / or the local television stations would have been all over this story as we all know sex sells. I don't see anything at all. Which makes me wonder if there is more coming and LE wants to keep things quiet at the moment.

Yeah MM is pretty much my go to and been there lots in last 6 months, Pretty sure I've seen everyone except the two new ones that just started and I have never seen that lady, even when I got put in the back by laundry when waiting. Kiko (mamasan) is probably like early 30's, then there's 2 older ones but none look like that.

Apparently it was one of the new girls.

They were technically still open for a while yesterday but I did confirm with Kiko today that they are now temporarily closed.

I've passed through several times and always visited Milk on the way. I was planning to next Monday as well.

If anyone knows where Mina ends up, I'd love to hear it. I'll miss those toys.

This could have been the white Tesla obviously watching the front door and that followed me west on Colonial past the Vape shop. That was about 2 months ago. Maybe more.

I know for a fact, that an independent provider in Seattle was arrested a few years back, and brought up on some trivial charges, while the $28 k cash she had her house was stolen and never reported as evidence. Spent quite a bit of time with her, off the clock, and got to know her pretty well. It was part of her savings, to start a restaurant. That's a pretty good pay day, for a few cops to share (and never report). Wonder how much $$$ was confiscated from MM, that will never get reported as "evidence". Even if it gets reported, it will just get "lost" in the criminal justice system.

Of course it's about the money. That's why LE spends all that time surveilling the place "building a case" I. E. Figuring out how the money flows so they can snatch it all during the bust. And from there it goes straight into their pockets.

Just a quick note to thank all of you for the news about MM. I fully intended on visiting for the first time today but saw the posts yesterday. Drove by yesterday early afternoon and of course zero cars in the lot. Pretty high-profile location so maybe something will open up somewhere not so noticeable.
