Posts: 374They were technically still open for a while yesterday but I did confirm with Kiko today that they are now temporarily closed.

Posts: 1I've passed through several times and always visited Milk on the way. I was planning to next Monday as well.
If anyone knows where Mina ends up, I'd love to hear it. I'll miss those toys.

This could have been the white Tesla obviously watching the front door and that followed me west on Colonial past the Vape shop. That was about 2 months ago. Maybe more.

Posts: 201It's always about the money
Of course it's about the money. That's why LE spends all that time surveilling the place "building a case" I. E. Figuring out how the money flows so they can snatch it all during the bust. And from there it goes straight into their pockets.

Just a quick note to thank all of you for the news about MM. I fully intended on visiting for the first time today but saw the posts yesterday. Drove by yesterday early afternoon and of course zero cars in the lot. Pretty high-profile location so maybe something will open up somewhere not so noticeable.

Posts: 137But what a fantastic business model it was. It was great while it lasted, and surprised me how long it lasted TBH. But also seriously as long as there's no human trafficking, these type of business should be legal, they should set some type of policies around it. The tax revenue would be better than wasting people's tax dollars in dumb raids like this, just because some hypocritical people view it as morally wrong, when it really isn't, just something that has been happening since the beginning of human civilization.

The milk business model was really flawed at the end of the day.
While great for mongers and the girls to get the negotiations out of the way, the business is an easy target at the end of the day.
You cannot have a massage facility in the state of florida and not get busted. Also if you are taking $$ upfront and have naked gals walking around right in front of everyone then no way you have deniability of what really is going on.
Both are easy targets for LEO.

But typically it seems that they are going for the money.
Arresting johns is usually a scare tactic when they are trying to clean the streets up for appearances.

Posts: 267That's the bazillion dollar question.
Everyone needs to understand that these places were probably under surveillance for months. If LE wants to make a "big splash", they might go after the visitors. Basically, a big waste of taxpayer dollars, for a "morality issue", when there is actual crime to address. Or maybe they just want to confiscate the $$ from the spas, to fund their police banquets, etc.

I know for a fact, that an independent provider in Seattle was arrested a few years back, and brought up on some trivial charges, while the $28 k cash she had her house was stolen and never reported as evidence. Spent quite a bit of time with her, off the clock, and got to know her pretty well. It was part of her savings, to start a restaurant. That's a pretty good pay day, for a few cops to share (and never report). Wonder how much $$$ was confiscated from MM, that will never get reported as "evidence". Even if it gets reported, it will just get "lost" in the criminal justice system.

Posts: 170It's ok if you do it for FREE!
It's truly amazing in the "land of the free" that you can be arrested for accepting money for a deed that is perfectly ok if done for free. That makes no sense at all. What if the law treated plumbers like that? "I can fix your toilet for free, but if I charge you, I go to jail. " It's senseless. And a total waste of law-enforcement resources at a time when we have real crime all around.

Posts: 53Dude, its all an act. They were literally living in MM. If they didn't work, they would be kicked out. They were not happy to be there. Lets be honest. No woman grows up wanting to do this for a living. They come from the poorest areas in China.

Posts: 201Land of the free. What a joke!
Yeah but LE always claims the girls are victims of "human trafficking" every time one of these busts happen. Which to anyone who has even the slightest clue about it can see is not true. There is no way the girls could do what they do so cheerfully if they were being forced. Don't get me wrong, I know it's about the money for them, but it's obvious they are happy to do it for what they get paid.

It's just appalling beyond belief that consenting adults can be arrested and publicly besmirched over something so innocuous. LE wastes years of time and resources on investigations like this when they could be going after real bad guys trying to hurt and exploit children.
