So I have been going to Columbia Massage every few weeks to see the manager (or owner), Emily, for a really effective therapeutic massage. When I showed up for my most recent appointment with Emily, she insisted I try a new therapist. Possibly because they were quite busy: there was a mom and two high-school-aged daughters wrapping up appointments so that I had to wait a few minutes.

Anyway, it was a very rigorous therapeutic appointment until near the end when the draping became lax, and the accidental brushes seemed too often to be coincidence. So I figured that perhaps this place was opening up, perhaps for repeat customers (even if only for self-service), like Royalty did for a while during Covid to goose tips and repeat business.

Welp, I figured wrong. The therapist was miffed when I adjusted the drape, and things ended promptly after that. I ended up tipping her as much as for a standard HE to apologize for my gaffe, but she was less-than-pleased as I left.

I recently had the chance to visit RL and drew Lilly. The reviews are spot on. She is very petite with firm B man mades. Very friendly and does not push for a tips. Also seems (it's hard to tell) younger than most RL masseuses. Without giving away too much, while she is very petite I think she can handle men of above average size. If you are going I would recommend calling ahead. RL was very busy, perhaps because of CA's closure?

Went recently and tried out luxe.

Booking the appointment was easy. Showed up and being new I played it safe. Massage was ok. Relaxing but what you'd get from just about any one with a bottle of lotion. Kelly was as advertised.
