Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. After my initial contact I get what I would consider a normal reply and then she would block me. This has happened to me more than three or four in the last couple of months. It usually happens when I don't reply within a handful of hours. I use a variation of this very thing, and the minute I get any pushing back I am gone and they are blocked. Actually had it happen last night with Vic. Tor. Ia (or something like that). No, I don't get any pushback. Usually during the first date I'll bring up at some point how busy work is. They'll ask what I do, I tell them something that's in the ball park but not exactly what I do and mention I do have to travel a lot for work.

Generally if I've seen them 2-3 times when I tell them "Hey I can't come by this week work is sending me to XYZ" they're fine with it. Now, I don't usually do that until I've seen them at least a few times, as at that point they like me enough that it won't matter.
