She regularly texts me while she's touring so it wasnt out of the blue at all. I messaged her asking if she could get me some cocos curry mix while she was in LA (its a japanese brand only sold in LA) and she responded with "no longer in LA, busted. " Etc. With rest of what I said. I don't know about Daphne or any other city busts other than what was mentioned here 6-8 weeks ago when MP was down and rebranding.

Hell, we've even gone on trips together when she takes breaks from working. I trust her, but she was vague in her text so I'm guessing it was only one apartment that got busted, not an entire agency. She said she will tell me more in person when she comes down in a month or two when she takes her summer break.

They actually don't charge the girls because it's a massive waste of time and money, the evidence is usually heavily circumstantial, and least importantly, most juries don't care and (rightfully) don't blame the girls for their "crime. " Additionally, for the only real crime they can charge (illegal immigration, e. G. "trafficking" as they call it) they already have a legal remedy for punishing that; deportation. It's the same as immigration court; most criminals are just deported rather than wasting time and money to convict and then deport them.

They "bust" these places by getting a warrant, finding illegal immigrants, shutting down the place and sending the legal girls back home (as you literally stated). They may fine the owners, but usually for harboring illegals since that's easy to prove. They aren't busting these places by wearing a wire and getting a girl to say "please give me money so I can formally transact the payment and give you sex in return. ".

Finally, cops don't care about prostitution! Unless it's a stick up his ass conservative politician who wants to look tough on crime or is just an insane fundie, the cops will only get involved if they start to sniff real sex trafficking or if their hands are forced (neighbors calling it in).
