While I am no fan of Donald J. Trump and his narcissistic ego, President Trump did a hell of a lot for this country and tried to get more done. The #1 person to blame for the Jan 6 incident is Nancy Pelosi who turned down additional guards Trump offered. His current commercials bashing DeSantis are disgusting because he knows it is not true. But what we currently have in the White House can't say a coherent sentence and his VP cackles like a schoolgirl.

The ONLY elected official in Washington with a guaranteed pension is the President who gets 50%. The rest pay into a retirement fund and it depends on years served, age at drawing, and amount paid in. The days of automatic pension without with Dan Rostenkowski. I have done the research. As far as insider info, The DemonCrats are the worst at that game. Look at Nancy Pelosi.

They have gone so far as to obtain a list of all people flying in and out of DC that week, and when they fly place an air marshal next to them to try and incriminate themselves (friend in airline talking to a air marshal), (trying to confirm). The founding fathers never meant or dreamed that it would become a profession. Why? They all had businesses and farms to run. They got together, did what needed to be done and went home. Maybe we need to get back to that, or better yet, make it not so lucrative to be a federal politician. One can always hope.

Very, very well said. Unfortunately the Trump hater loons blather on about Trump while the real criminals in both parties laugh at them as it distracts the loons from the real truth. That rhino leader's wife's family gave them a 40 million dollar "gift" about 20 or 25 years ago. He's just as compromised to the Chinese as Biden is. You are so right, though. The founding fathers did not intend for this to happen but it did, human nature being what it is. But, it's Trump Trump Trump Trump to the loons while the Biden's and the Pelosi's and the McConnel's laugh all the way to the bank. Yes, we need to get back to how they used to do it back in the founding fathers' day. Will we? Of course not. The trough is too big and the money to be made is too much to pass up.
