Hi everyone, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. But I'm a guy in the Metro Detroit area looking for some extras. Just how do you go about getting them? I was thinking maybe getting a few dances from a girl and asking about the VIP during then. I've also head that LS, FC, Silver Criket, are good places to go for that sorta thing. Any suggestions as what clubs to go to? Asking for a friend.

Just a thought, but "befriending" a security person or manager can go a long way. I had a silly experience with a gal (can't remember name) at FC. She tried to charge me for 2-dances when only 1 was performed, as she was awful.

I had spoken with the Main Security Person on Day Shift, Brian in the past. He is shorter, stocky & muscular with short hair. Previously I had complimented him on the Club in general, and I could tell it was much appreciated. After this "bad experience" I explained my version to him, and while I knew he believed me, I apologized, told him it was silly and that I was embarrassed to even be involved with such a horrible dancer, and gladly gave up the extra $30 simply to maintain good will. After this the Manger came over, and introduced himself, and insisted upon buying me a drink for the hassle.

This was a couple months ago, and to this day, when ever I am there, the Mgr. Still makes a point to come up and shake my hand and greet me, and has bought me a couple of drinks. Also, I have tipped Brian a couple times, and should I go to VIP (usually downstairs where he stands) he will only charge me ONCE for the VIP fee.

At this point I'm almost grateful that this awful dancer, who is no longer there, pulled this crap, as it has only shown me to be a good customer, and pays dividends even today.

If you're willing to allow yourself to be ripped off to maintain "good will" you may be "rewarded" with a free over-priced drink, as long as you tip the bouncer. I see no reason to tip a bouncer. They are not there for your convenience, they're there to protect the dancers, so it's the dancers who need to tip them. They help dancers rip-off customers. I would have told the dancer "nice try honey, it was one song and a crappy dance so be happy witb your $30" and walked out. But wait, I just remembered, they have my car keys. Was your free drink worth $30? You seem to think so, it wouldn't be for me. I can afford $30, I just don't like being viewed as a punk who allows himself to be shaken down.

Always curious / interested when I read posts like these. IMHO, many of the women who work in clubs are perfectly clear about how they make a living. I think they are almost able to "justify" in their minds what goes on in the VIP, by arguing that they are working in a Club not acting as Escorts or Prostitutes, who are somehow lower in their view.

What ever gets them thru the night is fine by me, I'm certainly not going to look down upon them for how they choose to entertain.

Interesting how you put it: You say dancers see escorts & prostitutes as somehow lower, then you say you won't look down upon them for that. To "look down upon" someone is a use of the same idea; you'd be looking down because they're lower somehow. So you're choosing not to look down on someone for looking down on someone.

I'm of the opinion we shouldn't really look down on anyone else who's doing what they can to make a living without hurting anyone else. I look down upon those who look down upon other people in that way. Both ways are ways to make a living. I don't have a problem with either.

If anything, I have as much of a problem with the dancer who looks down on the escorts or prostitutes as I do society generally looking down on sex workers of all types. I'd like to see it all destigmatized. It doesn't help when people in the industry commit what amounts to in-industry put-downs. It's silly to me and I'd have taken issue with the dancer in the original post in part because I'd like to take issue with everyone who puts all of the above, dancers, escorts, prostitutes, whatever, down, but it's a lot easier to do it with someone who does what amounts to the same thing.

I agree. Back when I was a regular of a club I was tight with the manager. I used to say: You know what I like send someone over. He would pick one of his best girls and there would be no issues. Trust me, the manager already knows who the problem girls are it won't take much to have him on your side.

Playing some three-dimensional chess here, one of the admittedly difficult things about Detroit clubs is the fact a lot happens under the table. For the most part, that's good -- that's how dancers are able to provide services in Detroit you really struggle to find elsewhere in the Midwest. However, some dancers take advantage of that in a bad way.

Because so much is negotiated in Detroit between dancer and customer without club interaction, there's a line as to what issues you can take up with club management. Management will probably not intervene or acknowledge anything negotiated between dancer and customer, so you're on your own there. Dancers with ill intent, and they're out there, can take advantage of that. While my best clubbing experiences have been in Detroit, some of my worst have been, too. If she said I did six songs when I only got and paid for two, if I'm in the right, I know I can talk to the guy counting at the room door about that. If I pay up front for FS (bad idea), and she stops after two minutes of CBJ, that's a different story.

That said, management must have some knowledge of what goes on, and they also need to have a gauge on whether customers are happy or unhappy. For the most part, dancers see enough customers that reactions should have some consistency, even if the club doesn't know the details of every interaction. It's up to the staff and management to monitor that somewhat.

Personally, I have had more then one conversation with a Gal about rates and activities, and have always been open and honest in saying that hey, I understand that "to each their own" Whether it is being attracted to a certain type of gal, or the rate they ask for, I simply explain that I understand that they each do as they like and charge what they like, and that not everyone is a "match".

I am not good about "negotiating" but I've found that an honest approach, and even a polite compliment or to decline an invitation should that person not be in my price range, is appreciated more often than not. Just my 2-cents.

It's not necessarily about us looking at it from the girl's perspective. It's about the girl looking at it from the perspective of other girls in the same position as her. She's putting down all her co-workers who do extras behind their backs. She's putting down all the girls in the hotel rooms who are doing the same things she's doing, just elsewhere, behind their backs. To an extent, she's even putting down herself.

If you're going to be involved in any professional field, I think you should own it, even if it's sex work, and stand up for the other people in your field. Even if you're competing with them on certain levels, you should be able to stand up for your industry generally. It's aloof, elitist and selfish on her part to try and draw such a thinly delineated difference between her ways and everyone else's..

Landing strip on Tuesday afternoon had a decent amount of talent and a good customer / dancer ratio (from the customer's view point) but the vibe was a bit. Off. Most dancers seemed to be a little on edge for some reason- which I could not ascertain.

So I stopped at Henry's one night to check things out (I think it was Wed). Kind of dead, most of the usual lineup including a newer girl named India. India is an AA dancer with a build I describe as slim thick. Nice ass with some hips and thighs, some pretty nice manmades and a fairly flat stomach. She sat down and we chatted for a few and she was pretty cool and asked about a dance. I wasn't necessarily looking for extras and she didn't offer but I thought a couple dances could be fun so I said sure. Dances were full contact and after a couple songs she offered extras. She quoted 150 for the works and I couldn't say no. I can say I'm quite happy that I said yes. This chick turned into quite the freak. The BJ was covered but very enthusiastic, and the face down ass up doggie was great and she enjoyed a good pounding. I definitely recommend and will be repeating.
