And I don't mind asking in person in the way you describe, but the session has to be worth it even without bb for these rates.

I don't know, like I said, just made the ask feel more natural and I think had the added effect of letting them know this was not something I was demanding, just asking for (since I came prepared for the answer to be no), part of that play it cool I mentioned. As far as CIP goes, a couple times I asked during the initial ask, but a couple times I asked prior to finishing. Not going to lie, had better success asking prior to finishing, but I do feel a gentleman should always ask for consent at some point prior.

IMO if they agree to b b and didn't mention c I p one way or another just go for it. If they don't want you to come inside they'll say that right off.
