So I went to get one of the Blackhawk cards but, instead of Office Depot, Staples was closer. They had dick to choose from (no Blackhawk) but I noticed the gift cards were NOT Vanilla brand and said WTF. Note that these were the set dollar cards (not the ones you can set the balance at purchase), so I baught a $100 gift card. Low and behold it worked but I still feel like that window is closing. At least I have time to set up the next option.

I think you guys are making this way harder than it needs to be. I get booted monthly. I just go to Harris teeter and get whatever card where I can pick how much I put on the card. I register the card because it works at retailers immediately but not online. When I register it I use a real address not mine and activate the card. Then I use the same address and open the SA account. Note, the payment to SA will not work for 12 hours after activation. So don't try to use right away. Use the same bogus name and address you activate the card with to set up new account on SA. You will also need a new email you can set up with google. Bam, Done!

Sorry, I'm not super tech savvy. Once I fill out the info in that Office Max link, can I pay with a gift card? I have 7 of them now, LOL. If not, kind of defeats the purpose. Then the card info is on my phone or they physically mail it? Again, mailing it would defeat the purpose. Sorry if this has been explained but I didn't catch it.

For the office max you use a real personal card.

Once you get the card in the mail, then you go to the giftcarmall site and fill in a fake but real address. If you had taken time to see my posts it is explained in detail.

When you buy it, go to the Giftcardmall and register it. Use a real address (not necessarily your own) where the zip code matches the zip code registered to the IP address of the cellular service or wifi that you will be using when you renew with seeking. Use a real address a street away from you.
