This. Also, "verification" takes some time to build up. I seem to have more luck with a reputable agency or something UTR to validate me based on my burner number, or showing TER reviews I've left through a bogus email accessed on an anonymous connection through a proxy service. If I want to expand and try something new, my level of comfort is largely based on their communication and expectations. There are also some things you can do obviously to help the confidence level increase and guard go down to show that any decisions being made, are based on two consulting adults.
