    I thought we can cancel on the day of the appointment (1 day advance booking which

    I have done) because we need to reconfirm the morning of the appointment. If we can't reconfirm then we can cancel it.

    When you book well in advance. The agency can cancel on you. But you can't cancel on them. They do not like advance booking cancels and I'm a frequency customer. YMMV.
