It's sad because I am not a regular doing this and have been looking for someone like her, or at least how she was on the first meeting. Would have definitely been a regular.

So I have to admit I'm torn in two ways. On the one hand I think she set me up and robbed me. On the other hand I'm legitimately concerned about her welfare. I also feel like I should go check on her and or collect my money.

I will say this to the dude who came in the trailer, be grateful it isn't July 1st.

Plain and simple you got played and give your donation at the end period if they don't like it too bad. Also keep everything hidden in your car and only have donation with you. So, thinking about how bad the "scene" is here: I lived in the area back in the early to mid 90's. That is when I first got involved in the hobby; before I even knew it was called a hobby. A large part of the reason why I'm retired is because of that close call that could have meant my life. Good review and posting both the links and pics is very helpful. I don't think I would worry about her. This is a planned act. Unfortunately plays out over and over. It is not uncommon among providers these days. If she was legit, she would have made arrangements to meet you or refunded part or all of your donation. She's a scammer. Accept it as a expensive lesson learned. Hopefully thorough research here or other sites where legit reviews are provided will help you avoid a repeat.

Just be thankful it wasn't worse. Sometimes these situations can be dangerous.

I mean it's pretty obvious that the victim is the only one that can save her "career" at this point. So if I was her I would just bite the bullet, tell him that she will make good on the money she is holding, and then another visit for free to make up for the stress of the situation.
