So she's gone from "never done this before" and "a bit nervous" to scheduling 3 meets in a day and at least one the next day. And you have to assume that the guys on this board are a fraction of the guys she's talking to. Odds that this is real have just dropped dramatically. I have HUGE reservations about her, based on both my own instinct & what you guys have been sharing on here. All I can say is that I've spent now 3 days in a row of frequent to almost constant texting with her. She's shared several really good pics, including one partial nude one as well. Her personality & conversational abilities are much better than the average girl her age that you meet on SA.

Yes, we have a meet set for Saturday late morning now. She gave me the name of her dorm at UGA specifically--where to pick her up. And she says she'll do a video chat with me this evening when I'm available because I'm trying like the devil to assure myself she's real.

All my suspicious instincts say "too good to be true. " But I see this as low risk. I don't live that far from Athens. As with any of these girls, any requests for "advances"which she has not done, at least yet--will be met with termination of contact by me. Plus, I've lined up a plan B in Athens (a known commodity to me & reliable) operating under the assumption that this girl is a fake.

To me, it's worth a shot. If she ghosts or otherwise no-shows, then I'll be on my way to plan B.

I've never been hit with a rinse attempt that was just trying to get a free meal. That could be because of how I vet them before the first date, or with how I come across to them (not the type of personality that would be a good candidate for their victim profile).

Another poster on another thread related his experience in Europe, where it is common for hot young things to pick up older wealthy guys, take them to a restaurant where they have accomplices, order off a 'special' menu with inflated prices, and the girls split the extra dough.

However, that poster also said he was getting incredible women in England right now for like 200 a date (virtue of dollar strength).

I don't know about any kind of scam, but a common tactic for some SBs and also girls on vanilla dating sites is called "rinsing. " A "rinser" is basically just looking to rinse as many guys as she can for free dinners / drinks etc without ever putting out. One of the big reasons I do coffee or drinks and usually avoid a full dinner on the first date is it automatically filters out the rinsers. Rinsers have a lot in common with wannabe insta models and influencers. Of course, if you're charming enough a girl who had planned on rinsing you may end up going to bed with you, but that's a low odds game.

I also get the feeling, and this is completely just a guess based on the patterns I've seen doing this over a year, but I suspect rinsing has become slightly less common and most rinsers have moved to trying to get SDs to pay for content instead. That's just speculation on my part.

I talked to her under a different profile a little while back and my spidey senses were activated as well. The language in this profile is pretty much the same as I remember it to be in the other. So right off the bat she's lying about being new to this. I recall in one conversation she said she had just gotten back from her first meet up from the site. They went to dinner and shopping. After a while she stopped responding to my texts after I tried to set up a meeting. Maybe keep the meeting on the books and keep talking just to see what happens. Hopefully you've asked to meet in a public location first.
