"Sugar Babies" and "Arrangements"

Completely out of the blue, I just received a text from a "424" area code & whoever it was knew my real name--as in, legal name, because everybody who knows me calls me by my nickname. This gal, whoever it was, threatened to "expose" me for soliciting prostitution. She then said she was "inboxing & faxing" (who uses a fax machine anymore? Screenshots of my SA messages of me trying to pay for sex. She also reminded me her "connections run deep. " Oh boy. I'm a zero-drama guy so I just replied "LOL, bye" & blocked her.

Anyone dealt with this type of stuff before?

One, I never give out my real name to any of these girls until I've vetted them in person. Two, I never discuss sex or sexual details on SA for fear of being banned so I have no idea where these "screenshots" she references are. Finally, she didn't identify herself after I asked her to. Nonetheless, I have a pretty good idea who it is, & she's pretty well known to this Board.

I've been generally pretty lucky avoiding the really dangerous batshit crazy ones until now. Normally, I'd roll my eyes & write this one off without concern except she knew my real legal name. Worried? No. Concerned? Yes.

I met these 2 a couple of years ago. They had an apartment somewhere near downtown Macon, and based on their Snap (I used a fake account) they'd send me realtime pics, facetime calls, etc to verify who they were. However, they wanted something north of $3 just to meet for drinks, nothing else, and I had to pay for drinks too. So, long story short I stopped contact with them after that.

I am surprised I didn't know the R&B had that article in 2019. No wonder I was killing it with UGA girls right after that. I talked to them a very long time ago when they listed Macon as their location. They were total scammers. They want money for doing absolutely nothing in return.

Good article and pretty accurate. It's from 2019, during the seeking heyday. That was when the male to female ratio was at its best and before covid. I think many young girls were sold a bunch of bullshit that initially signed up for seeking and were genuinely curious so were very willing to meet guys. Now they are mostly full of total sh*t. I find the conversion rate from texting to sex to be around 5% at best now. And the quality is way down too.
