It's really simple. Download one of the 5-6 free apps like Textnow. Use a new email to register. Also, really helps with out of town because ypu can get a local area code phone number. Anyone harrasses you, just change numbers. I often would use 3 or 4 apps at the same time with different numbers. Hey Guys, been a Monger for some time now but fairly new to this site. I've never used a burn phone or text app in the past but after reading a lot of post on here about being scammed and harassed, I would like to start using one of these. What are the best apps to use and can anyone recommend one that works the best with android phones? Would like to try the Apps before going and purchasing a burner phone as I don't monger a lot and would rather not buy a phone that will just sit unused. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

TextNow is probably the most common used. Most of the girls use it.

I would recommend the textfree app, it has always been my go to and have had very little problems with it. I would make sure you create the account with a spam / alternate email it takes only a few minutes to make a new account on google. Only thing is if you are running a vpn make sure it doesn't connect to any servers outside the US for some reasons one of my accounts got blocked and the Customer Service told me it was because I was out of the US so it was probably that my vpn auto connected to a server in canada.

I have T mobile and can use my phone in over 140 countries without switching out the SIM card. My phone pinged off a tower in Windsor last time I was in Detroit, and I received a welcome to Canada text from T mobile. LOL.

Verizon has a block on this website. You will need to access via Wi-Fi or VPN to access on your phone.

My virus scanner was going crazy with this today. I could still connect on a internet connection but this kept popping up.

I looked through google and I saw this is a scam. It's very unsettling either way. They keep calling and texting me from different numbers and I keep blocking them. Not sure what to do except keep ignoring them.

Use a burner phone if you are mongering. Create disposable email & app accounts.

Just delete that text app number and create a new one, should take about 3 minutes. Also change the settings in the app so you don’t actually receive any calls to the app, just texts, and make it so you don’t get any notifications. That way you only see the texts when you open the app
